We Came, He Scored, We Conquered! The Chelsea Football FanCast #156
Chidge and the Boys are joined by the best ‘Benches’ ever this week to discuss the Torres goal, the game against West Ham, plus the ‘Fannies’, ‘Dear Mart’ ‘DLBIA’ and ‘You’re on CFFC’.
We discuss the fact that we were there when Fernando Torres scored, in the match against West Ham on Saturday – the outpouring of relief was palpable. In fact he really should be nicknamed Fernando Torrent from now on in recognition of the heaviest rain we’ve ever seen at the Bridge, and perhaps the torrent of goals that we now hope to see in his Chelsea career!
As always we’ll be awarding our Man and Chant of the Match and Guinness and Celery moments from the games, and after that we’ll have “We’re out to Show the World the Way to Sing”. We also plug our campaign to Bring Back the Yellow and Blue Away kit and remind you about the competition to win a signed Fernando Torres shirt courtesy of soccerspeaker.co.uk.
No Dr Mart this week so ChelTel steps in to answer your Chelsea questions in Dear Mart. This week, we answer questions on Torres or Drogba; first away matches; what makes a legend; and do we still believe?
In this week’s “Don’t Look Back in Anger” we’ll be looking back with fond memories on another Chelsea player from the past, and finally we read out the best posts of the week in “You’re on CFFC”.

In this week’s “Don’t Look Back in Anger” we look back with fond memories on another Chelsea player from the past – who can it be? A special player and a favourite of the Celery Terrorist. All we’re saying is that his surname begins with a G!!!

Chelsea Site of The Week – Miss-SW6.com
At eChelseaFC, we love reading other sites written by other Chelsea fans and have featured in the past ChelseaDaft and Bridgeviews, however this week I would like to talk about a new and interesting site I have found and some CFC women making their voices heard.
I am of course talking about miss-sw6.com a collection of four female Chelsea fans across the world sharing their views and passion with the world via their site.
Coming from across the globe Danielle, Annely, Amanda and Jaymee are quickly gathering an impressive following and are regularly sharing their views on their simple and effective site.
The rise of the site has been meteroic and has included a recent feature on the Chelsea Football Fancast which we also love.
Check them out today @ miss-sw6.com

Fernando Torres Scores For Chelsea (Finally) – Video
www.hastorresscoredforchelsea.com
Phew, what a relief after two months of waiting , the most expensive player in English football has finally scored for Chelsea.
Since signing opposition fans, the media and anyone who does not fit the description of a Chelsea fan has been revelling in the misfortunes of the striker as he desperately tried to break his duck.
Despite this and the obvious frustration of him misfiring Chelsea fans have continously showed their support to the striker urging him on at every opportunity which was helped by the determination and general level of commitment shown by the striker.
Earlier this week Carlo Ancelotti said that a goal would be the best medicine for Torres and I have to agree and hope that we will now see a goal scoring run.
Theres not really much more to say below is a video, but you may want to turn the sound off!
